KOMBINAUT – NEW ART FOR A NEW ERA

The KOMBINAUT experience

KOMBINAUT was founded in 2019 and is part of the interdisciplinary arts collective SPARTS. We are creating images using intelligent machine learning models and image processing tools. Neither personalised nor provided with a gender identity, KOMBINAUT generates its very own new visual world.

In our shop we offer you editions of our favourite pictures.

How it works

The images you order in our shop will be produced and delivered exclusively for you within approx. 14 days. We offer the motifs in various sizes as fine art matt photo prints mounted on Alu-Dibond. For some editions fine art photo prints are available. And one good thing is: we ship your items free of charge.Further information can be found here:

Bring art home

It makes a significant difference whether you look at an image on your smartphone or whether it hangs in your home or workplace – it becomes a flatmate that you no longer want to miss.

Wunderkammer

When KOMBINAUT presented new AI-based visual worlds, acceptance of this new art form was still low - which is why we were initially only able to show WUNDERKAMMER 3.0 as a virtual exhibition. At the F15 Gallery in Bremen, KOMBINAUT was finally able to present the first ever monothematic exhibition of AI-based images in a classic photo gallery. Discover the species from the WUNDERKAMMER 3.0 series:

Cabinet of curiosities >

The existence of hybrids could never be proven. We succeeded in imaging them.

Bizarre plant hybrids that belong to a new genus are being developed by KOMBINAUT.

Previously unknown and strange deep sea creatures were discovered by us.

They really do exist - the monstrosities that have remained hidden in archives.

We have faces

The human face triggers our emotions. But is it also faces generated with AI tools that touch us? We think so.

The faces

The Wired series

The motifs from this series are among our personal favourites - they look like classic photography and yet are somehow irritating.

Brutalism is back

Many brutalist buildings disappeared - in the virtual world they are more popular than ever. We are fans of this architectural style and offer a Brutalism edition in our architecture shop.

What about Bålã?

The musicians of Bålã used this cat and mice motif for their first record cover. If you like it - there is an edition of the image available here >

Creating together

If you have any questions about KOMBINAUT's work, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are also open to cooperations of any kind, as the example of Bålã shows. We also offer customised artworks for you.

The abstracts

Some people prefer to hang abstract rather than figurative motifs on their walls. These series could perhaps be something for those.

In love with animals

It's not for nothing that videos of animals are so successful on social media. They awaken the child in us and simply make us feel good.

Fur

Pictures on the walls bring life and personality to your home and make it individual.

Why not set up your own gallery at home, in your office or in your studio? A wall on which you can display your very own collection of pictures.

Future fashion

Clothes make the human. A stylish fashion item can completely change a person's image - just like pictures on the wall can positively change the mood of a room.

The mountains are calling

We have been familiar with them since our childhood: the mountain giants of this world. But we have never seen them as shown in these images.

Real beauty is ageless

KOMBINAUT shows the beauty of old men’s faces. Faces that bear witness to a full life - even if the men shown in this series never existed.

The collages

These collages in a 1920s style were shown in the sixth issue of the magazine for the Berlin University of Applied Sciences / Fashion Department.
